BEGINNING LEVEL TAI CHI CLASS DESCRIPTION
This is a beginning level class which is structured to learn basic T'ai Chi Ch'uan. The student learns a short Yang style T'ai Chi Ch'uan form, which includes the first series of movements from the traditional long form, and is introduced to some other interesting movements. Each class begins with a thorough warm up. Qigong exercises are included, which encourage proper breathing and help stimulate energy. The fundamental T'ai Chi Ch'uan stances are explained in detail and reviewed often. The interpretation of movements is from the Choy family lineage. The pace of the class is very slow and relaxed.
